DPP best practices training and workshop

DPP is an organisation that gets planning permission for big companies and property developers. They needed best practice training in effective sales discussions. We worked with everyone from the Equity partners through to the Associates. Everyone needed to be able to sell better to new and existing clients. They had relied for too long on one big client.

We ran a programme for DPP over a two year period. Many of the people we worked with were introverted and reluctant to do the training. After an outright successful course, all came out understanding why they needed to sell and also gained some valuable tools and techniques on how to do this in a way that made them feel comfortable and motivated. One of many critical tools helped them to handle the different kinds of client they might be targeting and how to best appeal to those people.

This session will strengthen a mutual understanding of what constitutes a great brief. It will cover what goes into, and more importantly what to leave out of a brief, and always involves fun and productive role reversal techniques. It also looks at the intricacies of judging creative work.

 

This session will help you develop superior communications ideas at a quick and enjoyable pace. You may well notice that people start to smile at you. Let's face it, communication is everything, and if you make someone feel happy and satisfied because they understand even the most challenging brief, then your business relationships will thrive. Everyone's job becomes easier and more fulfilling. The brief lies at the heart of the communications process and dictates not only the positive results you can expect, but also the journey towards those results.

The objective of this session was to help individuals be more confident about presenting and specifically in presenting their brand induction.

After a needs analysis we ran a bespoke course on helping the group be more effective as presenters and improve their confidence and presence. Key areas we used included:
- Techniques to be confident under pressure
- How to engage your audience and specifically the importance of the first 3 minutes.
- How to be flexible and adaptable depending on your audience needs.
- Dealing with the unexpected... so that they were able to tell their brand stories with passion and be inspirational to the audience.
